It’s hard to stay out of the gardens at this time of year. Click. Click. Click.
These are my favorite daylilies. This is called Chocolate Candy or Chocolate Splash or Dark Chocolate. We could call it Dark Chocolate Candy Splash just to be on the safe side.
It’s chocolate, baby.
In the side garden, they just began to bloom this week.
And they are my favorite.
I swoon.
These are supposed to be those lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer — Thank you, Nat — but I find myself galloping from one thing to the next. Maybe that’s the crazy part.
More play.
Inside work.
Outside work.
Empty the freezer. Scrub, scrub, scrub. Fill the freezer with delectable edibles from all those fresh fruits and veggies that summer weather brings. The squirrels have nothing on me.
Scope out the farm markets in our region. Where are the farm fresh eggs? Where are the blue potatoes? Where are the purple peppers? I found all of those yesterday.
And saw some goats. Fun factor, yeah!
I’m ready for another road trip?
How about you? How is your summer going?
For now, it’s back to Revision Hell.
Friday. Meet you in the bar in 3…2…1
Elen
Note: Hee. Single Shot Friday went up on Thursday, because I thought it was Friday. See. Crazy days of summer. My readers are so polite, no one even poked fun at me. I’m wearing a smiley face.
